First Convention

Hello, hello!

I have not posted in a long time, as I was preparing for my first convention at Motor City Comic Con last weekend! Creating a portfolio from scratch was stressful, but now I have something to go off of moving forward!

I had a great time at the convention as I met and hung out with artists. The staff was very friendly and welcoming too.

From one of my new friends, I learned random things such as “double-double” and “under-toe” (specifically for Starbucks), coffee terms that I will never have come across since I don’t drink coffee at all. I got some tips regarding how to interact with customers and got some new resources for where I can get my products.

Deep down I felt my artwork wasn’t good enough, but this experience gave me confidence that people like my artwork :)
